Picked up this used Salomon Shift Alpha boot at Switchback Sports and it's been a solid choice for mixed resort and sidecountry days. The walk mode makes the uphill skin track way more comfortable than my old alpine boots, and the downhill support still feels locked in. Being used, it came with some scuffs and the liner was already broken in, which honestly saved me the usual break-in hassle. Fit worked out for my foot, though I'd recommend trying it on first since used stock varies. Good value if you want one boot for both worlds.
