Picked up the Smith Pilot MIPS for trail days in Park City and it has been a solid choice. The build feels light on long climbs, and the fixed vents move enough air to keep me comfortable on the way up and down. I like that the Mips liner is there for angled impacts without adding bulk. The dial makes it quick to fine-tune the fit, even with gloves on, and the side channels hold my shades between laps. Nothing fancy, just a well-rounded helmet that does what it says.
