I picked up the Selkirk SLK Geo for open play and social leagues, and it fits my level well. The all-court performance feels approachable without being too basic, and the quality is what I'd expect from pickleball's #1 brand. It's a solid choice for your first tournament too. Not the most advanced paddle out there, but it does exactly what it promises and helps you take your game a little further.
