I picked up the Racing Ralph Tire for my 29er and it's been a great choice for fast, dry cross-country rides. The third generation really does feel built for speed, and you can tell the block arrangement was tuned specifically for the longer footprint of the bigger wheels. Rolling resistance feels low and it holds traction well when I push it on hardpack. It's clearly a pure racing tire, so I wouldn't expect it to shine in deep mud, but for race day and quick laps it does exactly what it promises.
