Picked up the Armada Ansel 2L Shell for storm days at the resort and it has handled wet snow without a drop getting through. The 2-layer Ripstop fabric feels light but takes a beating, and the 100% seam sealing plus YKK zippers give me confidence. I really like the Lycra wrist gaiters and the microfleece chin guard, small things that keep you comfortable on long lift rides. The 4-way stretch powder skirt stays put on deep days. Articulated fit moves well when I'm hiking the ridge. Solid shell for the price.
