The NRS Crew Universal PFD is ideal for flatwater boating and close-to-shore safety. No frills or fancy stuff; this life jacket just offers safety and all-day wearing comfort.

  • This PFD is approved under the new certification system for PFDs. It's dual certified, carrying both a US Coast Guard Approval through Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and a Transport Canada Approval through Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULC).
  • Universal Plus sizing adjusts from 33"-58" chest measurement (including apparel layers) and is intended for users weighing over 90 pounds.
  • Four side adjustments and a waist adjustment make for a comfortable fit.
  • Tough 200 denier nylon shell stands up to years of use.
  • Improved shape of the shoulders and arm openings have been changed for better fit and mobility.

Bought the NRS Crew Universal PFD for flatwater paddling and close-to-shore days, and it does exactly what it promises. No extra pockets or gadgets, just a simple jacket that is dual certified by UL and ULC. The Universal Plus sizing covers a 33"-58" chest and works for anyone over 90 pounds, so it fits several people in my family. Four side adjustments plus the waist strap dial in a comfortable fit, and the 200 denier nylon shell feels tough. The reshaped shoulders and arm openings make paddling easier. All-day comfort is good, though it is a bit warm on hot afternoons.
