The Kids’ Expedition Hood Balaclava is your best friend when the storms stack up. We believe storm days are some of the best days, and the Expedition Hood lives and dies by that with a lightweight and protective TREO exterior and a 360° PERFA mesh liner for maximum warmth and breathability. Don’t let cold kids keep you from another lap!

Bought this for my 7-year-old and it's become his go-to on storm days. The TREO exterior blocks the wind and wet snow really well, and the 360° PERFA mesh liner keeps him from overheating when he's hiking the ridge. No more whining about a cold face on the lift, which means more laps for me. It fits under his helmet without bunching and stays put all day. Only note: it's lightweight, so on the coldest single-digit mornings he wears a neck gaiter too. Solid pick for kids who ski hard.
